Can I use my own app store accounts?
Yes, you can choose to use your Apple developer store account or ours. If you use
your own accounts, you'll need to keep up with the frequent contract update acknowledgements
they send out and make sure they are always signed and ready to go.
-
Will I lose the history and comments on my current Apple TV app?
In most cases, we can keep your app history and comments by deploying your new Apple TV app
over the top of your current app.
-
Does the TV App Factory service include the cost to build my Apple TV app?
No. You may build your Apple TV app in-house or contract with Triumph to build it for you.
The cost to build your app depends on the features you wish to include. Talk with our team for a
quote.
-
Does this include Q&A support for building my own Apple TV app?
No. The TV App Factory service plan includes only the initial deploy of your Shell to the Apple app
store and the ongoing updates to the Shell to include new features. There is no additional
support provided to answer Apple TV app development questions.
-
Does this include ongoing TV app development costs?
No, although Triumph offers monthly app support and development retainers if you would like to
work with our team to continue building out your Apple TV app.
-
If we publish our TV app under Triumph’s app store developer accounts, can we later
move them over to our own developer accounts?
Yes, it will be possible to transfer the app to your developer accounts at a later date for a
nominal fee to cover the time to process the move.
-
What if we're not ready for a Shell update as soon as it comes out?
Don't worry. You will control the timing for each Shell update. Once you tell us you're ready,
we'll complete the update and redeploy the Shell for you according to your preferred timeline.
-
Are there any other fees I should know about?
Apple has long lists of things that you're not allowed to do in your app. This can
make the process of approval difficult. Triumph is not able to ensure that all of the apps
authored by third parties follow these rules. This often causes the need for several
re-submissions to provide additional clarification and required information. If your app is
rejected based on content or features not allowed by Apple, we will charge an
additional $150 per re-submission after one grace attempt. If the cause of the rejection is
related to Rock-powered Apple TVs in general or an issue with our submission, a charge will not be incurred.
